From the period when SCO was established, the Organization plays an important role in China's foreign policy. Judging by the trends of the SCO development, Beijing gives to this structure high priority. Establishment of the SCO also was a result of China’s and Russia’s concerns about socio-economical and political destabilization in Central Asia . The vast border areas of both countries might be affected by the situation in the CA. The experience of SCO demonstrates that Moscow recognizes the Central Asia as a zone of geo-strategic interests of China.
